We recently posted a docker installation guide here. It’s much easier than binary file installation. Try if you want to execute Metatron Discovery in your local device.
Communication channel in Slack
We open “Slack” workspace(https://metatron-app.slack.com) to allow committers to communicate freely. You can create a channel related to a specific issue number through this channel. In Github, You can also use the “good first issue” and “help wanted” labels to support what committer needs.
Release History
After opening Metatron Discovery github repository on August 10th, we have created a dashboard with the number of issues to date.
3.0.5 release
At this version, we introduced “Map View” to Metatron (Issue#38).
“Query Monitoring Service” introduced as well (Issue#511).
Metatron SQL “Workbench” query window looks beautiful now (Issue#471).
And in Data Preparation, dataset swapping is now possible (Issue#525).
3.0.6 release
For the very recent version of Metatron Discovery, now users can see datasource ingestion status in real-time (Issue#505)
And our team improved usability of partition selection when ingestioning data (Issue#619) (for only StageDB).

Quality Assurance
We are having QA period until Dec 7th this year. The number of test case will be 15326 which is 5 times more than the first version of Metatron Discovery.
3.2 Plan
3.2.0 will be done by the end of the March, 2019.
